Below is a clip of President Trump’s visit to WCTC, a link to the signing of the Executive Order (he hands Charles the pen) and a refresher on Charles, who MMT covered a few years ago.
The Visit The Signing The MoldMaking Technology Connection The slideshow includes two photos of Charles initially meeting President Trump. "This was an unbelievable event. That President Trump would choose WCTC as the tech college to visit," Bob says.
Also, after taking first place at the state Skills USA competition back in April, last month WCTC Machine Tool Operation/Tool & Die student Jake Engelking competed at the Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky, and was awarded 2nd place for CNC Machining. "Jake has had an amazing run since winning the state competition, as he also was one of the students who met President Trump and Governor Walker while they toured our labs on June 13th and now has earned 2nd place in the country for CNC at Skills USA," Bob says.
On a related note, at Amerimold last month, the SPE Mold Technologies Division awarded its Mold Designer of the Year Award to Renee Nehls a tooling engineer at Sussex IM in Wisconsin, who donated the Award monies to WCTC.
