Member and Partner Benefits

Educational Discounts

Haas Automation and its dealer network (Haas Factory Outlets - HFOs) offer educational discounts to learning institutions to encourage schools to provide their students with modern industrial CNC machines and technology. Haas CNC machines are the best value in the market; simple and robust, and supported by the Haas/HFO 'single-source' service organization.

The entire Haas machine tool range uses the same, standardized, easy-to-use, easy-to-teach Haas CNC control-interface, allowing students (and teachers) to become rapidly proficient and confident in operating the equipment. Also low-cost Haas CNC Control Simulators are an excellent addition to any CNC training program.

Educator Resources

It is extremely difficult for the teaching staff at a technical school to stay abreast of developments in CNC manufacturing technology and associated teaching equipment and materials.

By working with Haas, the local Haas Factory Outlet and HTEC Partners, teachers gain a unique capability to use the best machining industry resources, and to provide their graduates with the skills and know-how to meet the needs of local industry.

As leaders in their respective technologies HTEC Partners offer a wide range of products, such as CNC teaching software, CAM software, tool holders, consumable tool inserts, work-holding equipment, probing technology, coolant, and tool setters, in addition to a wealth of ready-to-use teaching materials and textbooks, advice and experience, all for exceptionally good 'schools only' terms and conditions.

Regional & Annual Training Conferences

The HTEC Network organizes state and regional CNC educator conferences each year. These one-day events are hosted at Member schools and are free to all educators. The Conference Programs provide educators information, educational materials & methods, opportunities to benchmark, introduction to additional CNC technologies & partners and the ability to network with peers. Conference organizers, locations & dates, along with online registration are listed at HTEC Conferences.

An annual, 4-day Americas CNC Educators  Training Conference occurs in July. The 11th Annual Conference, HTEC 2017 at Lincoln College of Technology information is available at the HTEC 2017 page.  The 2017 Annual Conference will be held at Lincoln College of Technology in Grand Prairie, Texas.  Details and online registration can be found under the Events>HTEC Conferences button.

By registering your school with up-to-date contact information, including a direct web-link to your program, you provide all visitors: students, parents, other educators and industry with information about your CNC Program.
